Zion Pentecostal Church of God of New Direction
Zion Pentecostal Church of God of New Direction gives the following descriptive information:
Bishop Missel Josiaste along with his wife, Pastor Marie D. Josiaste, founded Zion Pentecostal Church of God of New Direction in the year 2000. The Bishop and his wife have since planted two additional churches in Seaford, Delaware and in Kolmini, Haiti and operates a k-8 school in Kolmini, Haiti. Zion Pentecostal Church of God prides itself on not just being a church, but on being a family and community-focused church. It is a church that distributes food to members of the community on a weekly basis, a church that seeks to revitalize neighborhoods by way of tree-planting and street cleaning, and a church that mentors young adults through programs such as Young Christian Brigades and The Young Ladies Ministry.
Bishop Missel Josiaste is a man of integrity who has and continues to exemplify what it means to be a servant of God, a family man, and a community leader.
The journey to where Zion is now has been 16 years of perseverance, lessons, and of unwavering faith. The road has not always been an easy one, but the Lord kept us. We find comfort in Philippians 1:6, which reads: "Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."
