In April 2026 we checked the main link of this page and it led to a privacy error. A search turned up information that the diner had burnt down and been demolished. The diner hadn't been replaced, at least not yet. Hopefully we'll see the Melrose rise again, but for now, we preserve the following information as history:

Everybody Who Knows Goes to Melrose

The famous Melrose Diner and Bakery has been a long-standing Philadelphia tradition since 1935. Conveniently located near the stadium for the sports enthusiasts, we have become a fixture in the neighborhood. Not only do we serve our local neighbors, but we also draw customers from all over the Delaware Valley in Pennsylvania. Whether you crave a midnight meal or an afternoon pick-me-up, our 24-hour diner and bakery shop has something delicious for everyone.

Note: The above descriptive information came from the company's home page in 2019. The place is located between Newbold and Melrose.
