The American Vegan Center (AVC) shares vegan info, books, history, merchandise, and more at 17 N. 2nd Street in Old City, Philadelphia. AVC is a hub of vegan information in Philadelphia. The Welcome Room is a small shop with books, T-shirts, Philly-specific vegan souvenirs, and food from local vegan entrepreneurs. AVC also has an Event Room to host presentations by chefs, doctors, scholars, authors, and other vegan experts.
