Ralston My Way gives the following descriptive information:

Ralston My Way is a licensed non-profit home care agency serving anyone 55+ in Northwest Philadelphia, with the mission of helping improve the quality of life for seniors "aging in community." My Way is a "one-stop-shop", with caregivers performing a variety of in-home services for members, including home care (assistance with activities of daily living, personal care, respite care), transportation, house cleaning, handyman repairs, yard work, and more.

We offer a broad range of services at affordable prices and a place to call when you are not sure who can provide the help you need. If you are actively retired, still working, or spending your time close to home, Ralston My Way can offer services to enhance your quality of life.

How are we different

Ralston My Way is part of Ralston Center, a mission-driven nonprofit organization devoted to the care and quality of life for aging Philadelphians since 1817.

All of our team members are employees and caregivers. No matter what job they are hired to perform, they are looking out for your best interests. Our employees go through a process that includes references, background checks, a drug screen and competency exams.

Membership in Ralston My Way is free. You only pay for the services you receive and we are one of the only organizations offering a one-hour minimum.

We are flexible. Tell us what you need. We listen and determine how we can help.

History of Ralston My Way

Ralston Center closed Ralston House as a residence in 1985 but the organization continued to focus on quality of life in aging. In 2005, Ralston’s board and staff joined community leaders to explore opportunities to offer services that would make it possible for low-and moderate-income seniors to continue to live a quality life at home. Ralston My Way was launched in 2010 in Germantown, Mount Airy, Chestnut Hill and East and West Oak Lane to provide affordable home care, transportation, home repairs, yard work and other nonmedical services to assist those 55 years and older living independently in their community. By the end of May 2010, its first full month of operation, Ralston My Way had 35 members. Today, we are approaching 3,500 with new members joining every day.
