BOOMERS ‘R HEROES Caregiver Support Group Meetings and Grief Support Groups combined with Respite Workshops are designed to offer CAREGIVERS (present and past) the resources to replenish yourselves. During these meetings and workshops our instructors/contributors offer you a sanctuary for a few hours, helping you move forward with your life and healing. Help is available, it’s all around you…but you have to seek it out. You need replenishment and validation. BOOMERS ‘R HEROES is your resource.
Besides holding Support Groups, we also train Caregivers to take care of themselves while caring for someone else. By maintaining your own health and well-beling , you become a better Caregiver. Six (6) 90-minute class sesions held one a week are led by experienced class leaders. Class participants work out of The Caregiver Helpbook to accompany the class and provde additional caregive resources. Conact Jean.kirkley@gmail.com, 215-758-7305 to particpiate.
