Follow in the footsteps of the brilliant artists John James Audubon and Alexander Wilson (the fathers of American ornithology) by bird watching along Pennypack Creek. The Pennypack Environmental Center resides on the unceded, ancestral land of the Lenape people, and was originally dedicated as a bird sanctuary in 1958.
Today, the Center has an outdoor amphitheater, exhibits, a reference library and campfire and picnic areas. Learn more about the various school, public and camp programs at the Pennypack Environmental Center by contacting us!
