The Amber Owls Cheer and Dance Team has been giving girls something to cheer about by providing low-cost instruction and fun for years. The team’s home-base in the past, Heitzman Recreation Center, will be undergoing a Rebuild overhaul, and while that’s terrific, it means that the Owls need to find a new location to practice this season beginning in December.
Mimi Martinez, team Coach, is searching for a small studio space that the girls can use. The non-profit team has insurance. It’s a competitive team that teaches tumbling, cheer and dance primarily to girls 6 to 13 years of age. All CDC recommendations will be followed this season, and more than ever, the girls need a place for some safe socialization and physical activity.
If you would like to sign up for classes, you can call Mimi at 267-597-2446. If you have a location or know of someone who can assist in finding a location, please call her. If not, please share this so that the girls will have a studio to practice and showcase their talent.
