Kingsessing.

Kingsessing is a Southwest Philadelphia neighborhood bounded on the north by Baltimore Avenue (U.S. Route 13), South 50th Street, and {not yet identified}, and South Melville Street. It is bounded on the east by the Schuylkill River, on the south by Bartram's Garden, and on the west by South 58th Street.

Adjoining Neighborhoods

Kingsessing is adjoined on the north by Cobbs Creek and on the northeast by Southwest Cedar Park. Also on the northeast, it overlaps Squirrel Hill. It is across the Schuylkill River from Forgotten Bottom and Grays Ferry to the east. On the south it is a few blocks from Elmwood. To the west it is across Cobbs Creek (the water) from Yeadon, Pennsylvania. On the northwest it overlaps Angora.
