Company Overview
The Shalom Center is focused on pursuing peace, addressing the climate crisis, creating deeper connections among communities, and creating rituals, prayers, celebrations and approaches to learning of sacred text.
General Information
The Shalom Center was founded in 1983 as a division of the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College. In 1993 it became part of ALEPH: Alliance for Jewish Renewal. In 2005, The Shalom Center became an independent 501(c)3 tax-exempt religious institution with its own board.
