"The American troops are moving into position!" at the Revolutionary Germantown Festival.

The 2021 Revolutionary Germantown Festival will continue its forty-plus year tradition of being a free event commemorating Germantown's Revolutionary history. Visitors will be able to engage with the sites in Historic Germantown through family-friendly activities that highlight the diverse experiences of the men, women and children who lived in 1777 Germantown. The festival promises to be a day of fun and exploration!

There will be a musket and artillery demonstration at 12pm during the festival. The demonstration displays some violent content including black powder demonstrations.

In accordance with City of Philadelphia mandates, visitors will be required to wear masks while on Cliveden's grounds. For information about the City of Philadelphia mandates, click here. Cliveden staff will continue monitoring the city and CDC guidelines as the festival draws closer.
