Giving Everyone Access to the Great Outdoors

As the Garden State, New Jersey boasts numerous parks and recreational areas to enjoy. These beautiful areas provide residents and visitors the opportunity to get outdoors and enjoy hiking, biking, fishing, swimming, and more.

NJ TRANSIT’s new Transit to Trails program gives everyone the ability to access over 40 parks in all 21 New Jersey counties via our bus, light rail, rail, or Access Link services.

Our interactive map lets you search by park name or view a virtual map of the state with different park locations designated. Each destination has clickable access points comprised of park entranceways, parking lots, or meeting areas. Service options for each of these areas, park info, and directions are all accessible from a pop-up that appears at each access point.
