For the past 35 years Diane Keller’s art has evolved from studio portraits, still life and garden paintings, to large scale public murals, and to recent paintings inspired by the miniature portrait. These small icons are works of delicate size and ornate simplicity. The award winning series was shaped by Keller’s interest in fashion as much as portraiture. Accustomed to experimentation with a wide range of materials, she has found a voice that resonates with her experience and insight.

A respected educator, Keller has taught at the University of Pennsylvania, at Moore College of Art & Design, and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Her work is in many corporate and private collections nationally, and her numerous public murals in Philadelphia are highly acclaimed. Recent clients include the Byerschool Foundation and Technitrol, Inc.
