NOT "Quickbooks!!!

Quirk Books is a publisher of impractical reference and irreverent nonfiction, with humor books, pop culture books, gift books, reference books, cookbooks, art books, gag gifts, and hybrid books that cross over from market to market and genre to genre.

The company is headquartered on a quiet cobblestone street in the historic Old City district of Philadelphia. Quirk publishes just 25 books per year and every title "is a labor of love". The books are distributed worldwide by Penguin Random House.

  • Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, a bestselling Young Adult fantasy novel.
  • The Last Policeman, an Edgar Award-winning mystery.
  • Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, "legendary".
  • William Shakespeare's Star Wars, "a classroom favorite".

Mission Statement

"Our mission is to amuse, to bemuse, to entertain, and to inform (not necessarily in that order, but usually all at the same time). And so far, our mission has proved possible: In our short lifespan, several of Quirk’s books have become bestsellers."
