HERO provides a well-balanced home environment for under-served families, helps to reduce crimes and teen pregnancies, and provides children with opportunities to excel academically and socially.
- HERO serves as a conduit for the community to work together to address their needs ie education, jobs, nutrition, parenting, housing and nurturing.
- HERO is a non-profit community-based organization serving the Nicetown/Tioga community of North Philadelphia.
- Serving underserved families and children within the Nicetown/Tioga community to help them cope with their everyday challenges and go beyond what is possible.
